  • Visit to Deal, Kent

      Our visit to Deal, Kent is planned to take place in  5 June.  A daytrip to this important port of Nelson’s time, guided visit to locations associated with Nelson, the Hamiltons and Captain Parker. Further details and Booking Forms will be given in forthcoming issues of the ‘Nelson Dispatch’.  

  • Service for Seafarers

            The Service for Seafarers will take place in Portsmouth Cathedral and will take place on Sunday 29 June (date TBC).  This annual service will be followed by a procession to the Nelson statue on Grand Parade for a wreath-laying ceremony.

  • Battle of the Nile Commemoration

    The Battle of the Nile Commemoration will take place in Exeter on Saturday 19 July  and will includeLunch and Lecture, at the Devon Hotel, Exeter.

  • Nelson’s Birthday Lunch

    Nelson's birthday lunch will be held at the "Lord Nelson" in Burnham Thorpe on Monday 29 September 2025.   • Trafalgar Weekend 2025

    The Trafalgar Weekend will be held in Burford Bridge Hotel, Dorking, Surrey on Saturday 18 – Sunday 19 October.  A weekend of events based at this historic hotel including the Annual General Meeting and Trafalgar Dinner.   Further details and Booking Forms will be given in forthcoming issues of the ‘Nelson Dispatch’.

  • Pickle Night Dinner and Remembrance Event 2025

    Our Pickle Night Dinner and Remembrance event will take place in Portsmouth on Saturday 8 - Sunday 9 November (TBC). Evening dinner at the Keppel's Head to commemorate the arrival of HMS Pickle in 1805 carrying news of the Battle of Trafalgar. VIP places at Portsmouth Guildhall for the Remembrance Parade on Sunday.
